Q: Why don’t you use a shopping cart on your website for your customers’ ordering convenience?

A: We prefer to interact directly with you. We do not treat your Oxygen Permeable lenses as commodities. Since we custom manufacture each lens, if a question arises about your prescription, we address it directly with you. Only when such questions are resolved do we initiate the billing and manufacturing processes. This keeps you fully aware and in control of the order process. Our billing process prevents your being billed in advance of having all lens specifications fully documented and understood.

Q: Why do we have to send our prescription to you rather than just send the information from it to you?

A: We are required by law to have a copy of your Rx on file. This benefits you in several ways: It assures that you are protected from having an expired prescription filled and billed. It allows us to see all of the details your doctor has outlined for your lens specifications. It eliminates the need for you to interpret unfamiliar nomenclature and symbols and abbreviations commonly used in the industry. And it gives us the opportunity to discover errors and omissions on the Rx which could cause an unsuccessful outcome.

Q: What do you recommend when I have a new prescription?

A: If you are a new RGP lens wearer or if you have a new prescription with different base curve(s), power(s), or diameter(s), we recommend that you aquire your first lens(es) with the new parameter(s) through your Doctor. Your Doctor’s warranty will cover situations where further adjustments are required. Only when your new perscription is satisfactory to you in every way should you consider buying replacement lenses from us.
